VARANASI E IL GANGE.

  Oggi m' incammino lungo il Gange, oltre ad essere il luogo dove un induista purifica il proprio karma immergendosi nelle sacre acque, quando in lontananza vedo del fumo nero salire verso il cielo, capisco subito dove sono, solo quando si è a Varanasi si può capire quanto sia importante per un induista avere il privilegio di terminare la propria vita sulle rive del fiume sacro per una sicura reincarnazione, rito antichissimo che ancora oggi scandisce la vita di un induista. Mi trovo a vedere una scena davvero macabra, l'odore acre insopportabile che si mescola a quello degli incensi, lo sfrigolio della carne che brucia sul fuoco, alcuni corpi bruciano tra cumuli di cenere e sporcizia e cani che girano intorno, corpi che non si consumano del tutto e con un palo gli rigirano sulle braci. Ancora più raccapricciante è quello che mi dicono, corpi di bambini e donne in gravidanza non vengono bruciati ma portati al largo e gettati nel fiume senza tanti preamboli come se il corpo fosse un involucro qualsiasi.  //  VARANASI AND THE GANGE. Today I am walking along the Ganges, besides being the place where a Hindu purifies his karma by immersing himself in the sacred waters, when in the distance I see black smoke rising towards the sky, I immediately understand where I am, only when you are in Varanasi can you understand how important it is for a Hindu to have the privilege of ending his life on the banks of the sacred river for a sure reincarnation, an ancient rite that still today marks the life of a Hindu. I find myself seeing a really macabre scene, the acrid unbearable smell that mixes with that of incense, the rubbing of flesh that burns on the fire, some bodies burn between piles of ash and dirt and dogs that go around, bodies that do not wear out completely and with a pole they turn on the embers. Even more horrifying is what they tell me, bodies of children and pregnant women are not burned but carried offshore and thrown into the river without so many preambles as if the body were any casing.

VENEZUELA ALLA FAME

Sono sconvolto, sono a Caracas e ho visto la gente mangiare direttamente dalla spazzatura, questa dittatura rossa tiene in pugno la popolazione con la fame, il disprezzo per i diritti umani, con sicari del potere dispotico che assassinano la gente. La cultura della morte è la cultura dominante di questi tempi in Venezuela. Venezuela distrutta in tutti i sensi economicamente, culturalmente, da un regime depredatore, corrotto.  Nonostante tutto questo incontro e parlo con la gente della strada che mantengono ancora un grande senso civile, una grande amabilità con uno straniero come me che spesso si trova a chiedere un'informazione e con una gentilezza rara di questi tempi mi fanno sentire meno straniero.

ISTAMBUL PANINO CON IL PESCE // FISH SANDWICH IN ISTAMBUL

Istanbul ha una moltitudine di esperienze memorabili per i visitatori, una delle quali è godersi un balık ekmek (sandwich di pesce) mentre si passeggia sul Bosforo. Per tutta la sua semplicità, altro non è che un panino con pesce grigliato e farcito con verdure. famoso cibo di strada ha una storia interessante, così come solo pochi punti dove si può ancora trovare la versione autentica, uno di questi  sono I battelli ormeggiati sulle rive del Bosforo.  //  Istanbul has a multitude of memorable experiences for visitors, one of which is to enjoy a balık ekmek (fish sandwich) while strolling by the Bosphorus. For all its simplicity, the famous street food has an interesting history, as well as only a few spots where the authentic version can still be found.

LUXOR TEMPLE

 LUXOR TEMPLE ;  Costruito in gran parte dai faraoni del Nuovo Regno Amenhotep III (1390–1352 aC) e Ramses II (1279–1213 aC), questo tempio è un monumento straordinariamente grazioso nel cuore della città moderna. Conosciuto anche come Santuario Meridionale, la sua funzione principale era durante le celebrazioni annuali dell'Opet, quando le statue di Amon, Mut e Khonsu furono portate da Karnak, lungo il Viale delle Sfingi, e qui riunite durante l'inondazione.  //  Largely built by the New Kingdom pharaohs Amenhotep III (1390–1352 BC) and Ramses II (1279–1213 BC), this temple is a strikingly graceful monument in the heart of the modern town. Also known as the Southern Sanctuary, its main function was during the annual Opet celebrations, when the statues of Amun, Mut and Khonsu were brought from Karnak, along the Avenue of Sphinxes, and reunited here during the inundation.
