OLD YOGYAKARTA
// In the alleys of old Yogyakarta where a foreigner who enters makes one think of those who live there, or this is lost or is a madman of a stranger who does not know that this is not a tourist place, for this reason I enter into these meanders to know a world that we do not imagine, with a lot of discretion and the camera I take it out not before I have ascertained that I am not offending the dignity of these people on the margins of society but not for this reason less sociable indeed in these places I meet smiles more spontaneous. I go on tiptoe and often understand my respect immediatly, to my rejection I withdraw. I was intrigued by this little girl who was doing laundry in a small bucket, certainly for fun, but here life is much more than a game, even if it seems that it is if you read the smile on people's faces, it seems that everything is normal, what for us Westerners it would be a punishment to live in certain conditions. Going back to these short frames that I immediately turned off the phone when the little girl noticed my presence I put her in difficulty, there were other children behind me who were calling her to tell that I was shooting her, as you can see I ruined them the game. I felt so guilty that I went to buy some cookies to repair the damage but when I came back the girl was gone
