KWAI CHAI HONG in KUALA LUMPUR
Kuala Lumpur's (CHINATOWN), a once neglected alley, now brought back to life by a group of entrepreneurs and one of them was a boy (Chang) who lived his childhood in these places. The murals were painted by five local artists: Khek Shin Nam, Chan Kok Sing, Chok Fook Yong, Chew Weng Yeow and Wong Leck Min, with Chang noting that their different peoples of painting and brush strokes reflected the diversity of the Chinese community itself. A corner of Kuala Lumpur that deserves to be visited, made me remember the murals of George Town in Penang.
