DI RITORNO IN INDIA // BACK TO INDIA

Sono di ritorno in questa India sempre problematica e questa volta i problemi gli ho avuti appena messo piede fuori dall' aereoporto, al controllo del visto da parte delle zelanti autorità, manca solo che ti facciano la TAC, questa volta senza fare code, aereoporti vuoti per il corona virus. Adesso comincia odissea, contratto il prezzo con i soliti taxisti abusivi e dopo un tira e molla arriviamo al compromesso ( 1.000 ) rupies che per loro è una fortuna, ( 13 euro ) partiamo per l' albergo e  a New Delhi, posti di blocco tutto transennato, ci sono stati una ventina di morti per disordini tra Hinduisti e Mussulmani, telefono all' albergo e mi dicono che la via è chiusa, discussioni a non finire con il taxista che non mi vuole portare neanche nelle vicinanze dell' albergo e come sempre giocano a portarti in un altro albergo dove prendono una lauta provvigione, intanto sono passate ore, sono le 2 di notte e non vedo via d' uscita. Ho messo alle strette il taxista e a quel punto finalmente mi porta a 50 metri dall' albergo. Diceva Terzani sull' India "  India :  ladra, sporca, infetta. " Ecco un esempio dell' india, non la conoscessi, ci sono delle situazioni che ti viene voglia di prendere il primo aereo e scappare, poi altre che ti coinvolge talmente tanto che non vorresti mai venir via. Questa India con tutte le sue contradizioni, dove le cose più semplici sono le più complicate, anche solo prendere un taxi, salire su un treno per uno straniero devi andare a una stazione fare la fila anche un paio di ore, lo devi prenotare giorni prima, avevo trovato un APP dove prenotare i treni ON LINE ma devi avere la carta di credito Indiana. Comunque ci sono e ci sarà ancora molto da scoprire su questa India che non si finisce mai di conoscerla.  //  I'm back to India Always a problematic country,

Sono sconvolto, sono a Caracas e ho visto la gente mangiare direttamente dalla spazzatura, questa dittatura rossa tiene in pugno la popolazione con la fame, il disprezzo per i diritti umani, con sicari del potere dispotico che assassinano la gente. La cultura della morte è la cultura dominante di questi tempi in Venezuela. Venezuela distrutta in tutti i sensi economicamente, culturalmente, da un regime depredatore, corrotto.  Nonostante tutto questo incontro e parlo con la gente della strada che mantengono ancora un grande senso civile, una grande amabilità con uno straniero come me che spesso si trova a chiedere un'informazione e con una gentilezza rara di questi tempi mi fanno sentire meno straniero.

ISTAMBUL PANINO CON IL PESCE // FISH SANDWICH IN ISTAMBUL

Istanbul ha una moltitudine di esperienze memorabili per i visitatori, una delle quali è godersi un balık ekmek (sandwich di pesce) mentre si passeggia sul Bosforo. LUXOR TEMPLE

 LUXOR TEMPLE ;  Costruito in gran parte dai faraoni del Nuovo Regno Amenhotep III (1390–1352 aC) e Ramses II (1279–1213 aC), questo tempio è un monumento straordinariamente grazioso nel cuore della città moderna. Conosciuto anche come Santuario Meridionale, la sua funzione principale era durante le celebrazioni annuali dell'Opet, quando le statue di Amon, Mut e Khonsu furono portate da Karnak, lungo il Viale delle Sfingi, e qui riunite durante l'inondazione.  //  Largely built by the New Kingdom pharaohs Amenhotep III (1390–1352 BC) and Ramses II (1279–1213 BC), this temple is a strikingly graceful monument in the heart of the modern town. Also known as the Southern Sanctuary, its main function was during the annual Opet celebrations, when the statues of Amun, Mut and Khonsu were brought from Karnak, along the Avenue of Sphinxes, and reunited here during the inundation.
